Embedded products depend on a reliable platform underneath them — the BSP, the Linux build, the bootloader and drivers everything else runs on. Getting that right, and keeping it right, is specialist engineering: Yocto, kernel and driver work, hardware integration, and the discipline to verify all of it on real silicon rather than assume it.

Most product companies don't want their own application and domain engineers spending their time becoming Linux and Yocto specialists — that's not where their product differentiates itself, and it's rarely a skill worth building in-house for one board.

JustEmbed takes responsibility for that layer instead: from silicon to a production-ready Linux platform, on a shared, reusable foundation across every target we support — so a manufacturer's own team can stay focused on the product itself.

Security and lifecycle belong in that same layer, not bolted on separately — hardened baselines, CVE-aware builds, and a secure update path are part of the same BSP work, on every platform we maintain. The Cyber Resilience Act and NIS2 are part of why that discipline matters more every year — context for the work, not the reason JustEmbed exists.

We also use AI assistants heavily in our own engineering, to deliver faster without cutting corners. What data goes near which tool follows a clear, data-sensitivity-based policy, which we publish.

The goal is one partner who understands the hardware and the engineering underneath it — instead of stitching together vendors who don't talk to each other. Founded by Raymond Siudak, whose background across embedded software, integration, and technical leadership drives JustEmbed's direction, we're growing from deep individual expertise into a company built to support that same standard at scale.
